Zoo after School!

 

 

 

 

 

 

On Friday we picked up the kids a little early from school and headed to the zoo. The weather was perfect and the zoo was pratically empty! Since it was piggy's normal nap time we didn't walk the entire zoo, but made a couple stops to see the primates and giraffe's per my Moon's request, jumped on the carousel, visited the petting zoo and we couldn't leave without a train ride! I think it was a great unexpected surprise and we all really enjoyed ourselves :)

Day One. twentyten

We were presented with the first day of 2010,filled with sunshine and good times! Hector and I took Luna to breakfast and then to the zoo! I love seeing how each time we visit the zoo, it is a different experience for Luna, from just being pushed around in a stroller, taking in the sights and sounds, to becoming more interactive with the petting zoo, being more vocal about all the things she is seeing, and being able to walk the entire zoo herself!!!
